Manuscript Editing
Drafting a novel is only half the job — shaping it into a finished manuscript is the other half. Conteur's Finalize editor gives you the formatting tools of a dedicated word processor, built specifically around long-form fiction, without ever touching your working drafts.

Right-click formatting menu
A full, Word-style context menu inside the manuscript editor: fonts, text styles, paragraph formatting, drop caps, inserts for breaks, chapter and scene breaks, tables, lists, and columns, plus find & replace, page setup, and headers and footers — all from a right click.

Full keyboard shortcuts
A complete set of familiar shortcuts for saving, opening, printing, finding and replacing, alignment, indentation, lists, line spacing, sub/superscript, case changes, headings, and page breaks, so your hands never have to leave the keyboard.

Find & replace
Search inside your manuscript with results that wrap around the document and scroll each match into view, so you're never left wondering whether a search actually found anything.

Formatting Templates & Traditional Formatting.
Select any of Conteur's preset templates designed around common genre styles. Customize the templates if you desire. Standard Formatting options common to most word processor programs are available. Move between your drafting board and your finished manuscript view as many times as you like — your formatting stays intact in both directions instead of being flattened or rebuilt from scratch.

Finished Stories vault
A separate, protected space for completed manuscripts that story generation never reads from or writes to. Save overwrites the same finished file safely, and Open sits right beside it, so your polished draft can never be accidentally altered by a generation tool.
